Kind of obsessed with this song, just a tad. 

It's an old school song with a more "rock-y" vibe.

I listen to it on my 20 minute drives to school, 

as well as other Christian songs to start my days off right.

Canadian Adventures

Birthday celebrations continued.

In September, with school just around the corner, my sweet friends Julie & Sue decided to do a last minute surprise trip for me. We packed up my car and headed north on I-5 at 9 pm. I guessed we were going to Canada, but they only informed me when we reached Seattle. We continued driving through the night, blasting music to keep us awake. After an intimidating border check, we were finally in Canada at 3 am. We spent a day wandering Vancouver, British Columbia, and the next day exploring Victoria Island. It was such a fun trip, and I have to say thank you to those sweet girls for planning it. It was a wonderful weekend that I'll always remember.

My sweet Julz. Her feet began to hurt, so we traded shoes. I didn't mind, they still matched my outfit.

We watched the stunning sunset at Canada Place, a popular spot to hang out in downtown Vancouver.

On the ferry ride we go... 

We got all the maps and brochures and set off to explore. (They came in very handy)

Orangey

It's the weekend for me already,

& I can't wait for the fun to begin.

I'm going to the corn maze with friends.

I'm loving the fall weather. Perfection.

& kinda obsessed with the color orange right now. 

Getting a manicure on Friday, a warm orange perhaps or something "fall-ey".

Tea&Cupcakes

Its not coffee this time.

I had quite a Sunday.

After jamming my pinkie toe into the table and bleeding all over the place, gross I know.

No worries, no visuals of that (:

I wasn't able to go to church because I couldn't put on any shoes :/

And then my nephew having a high fever and needing to run to the store...

I was at New Seasons and was craving something sweet,

freshly baked cupcakes perhaps?

So when I got home I poured myself a cup of jasmine green tea,

and enjoyed it with my scrumptious red velvet w/ cream cheese frosting cupcake.

Got to have the honey (;

 This I saved for later...Couldn't eat the whole thing!

P.S. Aren't the cups cute? My mama sees anything with bees on it and gets it.

We have bee stuff all over the house.

Bipolar

Yesterday was sunny, & I even got a tan.

But Oregon just wants to be stupid.

So its mid-june and hey lets rain and be all cold outside.
