Starting the New Year Right

Well friends, it's been too long.
No excuses, I just haven't blogged.
I have great hopes for this new year, and am excited about the way it's starting:

ROADTRIP.

I leave tomorrow with my closest friends & I couldn't be more excited.
I will be documenting this trip like no other. Got my camera, video camera, polaroid, and of course iPhone.
It begins after landing in Long Beach. Disneyland, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and L.A. are just some of the places we will visiting. Let's just say we packed as much as we possibly could into a week.

Time to pack.

It's Been A While...

Well hello there friends. I'm back! It's been a while, trust me, I know!
I can't tell you how much people ask me to start bloggin again.
My Senior year of high school was very busy and so was my summer.
But why not start it up again, I've missed it! As of lately I've been addicted
to Pinterest, so come follow me there. I'll give you all an update on my year,
so no new pictures quite yet.
New Years: The theme was sparkles/glitter & it was a blast. People left my house
around 8 am and we were able to watch the stunning sunrise!

And no worries... I won't quit blogging again! Stay tuned for blog posts about the year & a birthday photoshoot that my sister & I just did. If you want to follow my instagram where I post pictures weekly it's: @gloriousdaisies
It's good to be back

Sky High...

I was walking down my driveway as the school bus dropped me off & was stunned speechless by the amazing, patterned sky that was before me.
I tried my best to capture the beauty I saw.
Maybe it was a "just had to be there" kind of moment, but here you go anways:

Gotta love God's creation. (:

Purple

I never knew there was this strange purple-lettuce plant growing in a flower pot outside the front door.
It's always good to go browsing outside & see what you find. (:

Sunriver!

  • went to Sunriver (Bend, Oregon) this weekend
  • here are some snapshots of our adventure
  • my arm is in a sling because I sprained my wrist snowboarding (for those of you wondering)
  • enjoy!

on the way there (4-hour drive)
the Three Sisters

for the image above: i created that blur effect on the river, by using a low shutter speed.
i guess i do learn something in photography class.

It's Feelin' Like An Artsy Day

Off to the Portland Art Museum I go!
I spent my Saturday afternoon wandering the museum looking for some photographs (had to do with a photograpy project I was working on).
It's an interesting place.
A good experience.
Let's just say, one times enough. (:

  • lace shirt: Love On A Hanger (Nordstrom Rack)
  • blazer: Necessary Objects (Nordstrom Rack)
  • shorts: Joit (Nordstrom Rack)

  • Handbag: Marc Jacobs (Nordstrom)

It's not a coincidence that almost everything I own is from Nordstrom Rack; it's my mama's favorite store to shop (:

It's January!

Please execuse my absense, it was busy these last few weeks and I just couldn't get around to my blog. The holiday break was just what I needed to get through the rest of the school year. My friend Antonela came to visit and we had a mini-photoshoot in the freezing cold here in Oregon, but sadly no snow! Here are some of my favorites:

I'll miss you Antonela! I'll see you in the summer!

Love you Dad!

This was just a sneak peak into my holiday break. I'll put more posts up of all my adventures (: Enjoy!
