Frosty Morning

I can't remember the last time I picked up my camera, but it was on my to-do list.
We've been getting a lot of frosty mornings in Oregon. It looks like a winter wonderland outside & I just had to capture some of the beauty. I tried my best, but it was kind of a "had-to-be-there" moment.

Have a good rest-of-the-week & remember to just enjoy the little details.

It's Been A While...

Well hello there friends. I'm back! It's been a while, trust me, I know!
I can't tell you how much people ask me to start bloggin again.
My Senior year of high school was very busy and so was my summer.
But why not start it up again, I've missed it! As of lately I've been addicted
to Pinterest, so come follow me there. I'll give you all an update on my year,
so no new pictures quite yet.
New Years: The theme was sparkles/glitter & it was a blast. People left my house
around 8 am and we were able to watch the stunning sunrise!

And no worries... I won't quit blogging again! Stay tuned for blog posts about the year & a birthday photoshoot that my sister & I just did. If you want to follow my instagram where I post pictures weekly it's: @gloriousdaisies
It's good to be back

Landscape

  • photography class always fills me up with projects
  • my current one is landscape photography
  • so i took a few. (aren't the best)
  • but i worked with what i captured.
  • the requirements for a landscape shot are:
-horizon line
                                     -foreground, midground, background
              -& composition is key
  • here are the one's that i think turned out the best:
  • which one should i turn in?

i think the first one is my favorite, because it's not your "typical" landscape photo.

Bird-Watching

I was just minding my own business.
But those pesky birds outside wouldn't stop chirping.
They were enjoying the sunshine that finally decided to come out.
& they also love our Holly shrubs that grow outside.
They eat the berries.
It was time to take out my camera.
I captured a few shots.
It was hard not to scare them away.
I would come out to the porch, & they would fly away.
& the second I left they would fly back for their lunch snack.

These were just my favorite shots.
I got a lot more, but decided to keep it short n' sweet (:

Bust A Move

I had an amazing weekend at my friend Lili's college: George Fox University.
Me and my girls went to the school dance called, "Bust a Move". The theme was decades.
Pick a decade and dress from that era. Here is a little glimpse of that evening:

Inna was dressed from the 60's.
Bold and bright pops of color, colorful makeup, and can't forget those chunky heels.
Our inspiration for this 1960's look:

Lili was dressed as a 50's Housewife.
We added the 1920's hat for a little special something.
This made her look like a widow, who's husband recently died. A bit sad, but she worked it (:

Our inspiration for the 1950's look:

And I of course, was a 20's flapper girl.
This look was borrowed from my sister: vintageprettypearl.
This was her new years outfit. I added a little of my own *sparkle* though.

Our inspiration for the 1920's look:

All our looks put together:

Charlie's Angels (:

All these decades had interesting styles, and it was so fun to dress-up.
It gave me an insight on how they dressed before, and how fahion changes so fast.

which is your favorite look? &
what is your favorite decade of fashion?

Sky High...

I was walking down my driveway as the school bus dropped me off & was stunned speechless by the amazing, patterned sky that was before me.
I tried my best to capture the beauty I saw.
Maybe it was a "just had to be there" kind of moment, but here you go anways:

Gotta love God's creation. (:
