Lose Yourself to Dance

After coming back from the road trip, I had to settle into my classes this winter term.
Last weekend, I was finally able to put a little video together with my friends Inna & Lilli (the girls I went on the trip with). The whole thing is of us dancing in various locations throughout our trip. Locations: the ship RMS Queen Mary, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sunset Crater, Route 66, & Bottle Tree Ranch.
We found the perfect song: "Lose Yourself to Dance" by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams.
It fits with all our dance moves.
Enjoy the video! Hope it makes you want to dance.
& I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Woohoo for the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl!
(not that I care about sports. at all.)

Happy Friday

The sun's out! Finally!
What to do today...?

Maybe I'll explore the city.

But I will definitely soak up the sun...

Maybe on a bike ride.

I will definitely take a few photographs...

Or I will dance like no one is watching.

What are you planning on doing today?
Enjoy the weekend.

Bust A Move

I had an amazing weekend at my friend Lili's college: George Fox University.
Me and my girls went to the school dance called, "Bust a Move". The theme was decades.
Pick a decade and dress from that era. Here is a little glimpse of that evening:

Inna was dressed from the 60's.
Bold and bright pops of color, colorful makeup, and can't forget those chunky heels.
Our inspiration for this 1960's look:

Lili was dressed as a 50's Housewife.
We added the 1920's hat for a little special something.
This made her look like a widow, who's husband recently died. A bit sad, but she worked it (:

Our inspiration for the 1950's look:

And I of course, was a 20's flapper girl.
This look was borrowed from my sister: vintageprettypearl.
This was her new years outfit. I added a little of my own *sparkle* though.

Our inspiration for the 1920's look:

All our looks put together:

Charlie's Angels (:

All these decades had interesting styles, and it was so fun to dress-up.
It gave me an insight on how they dressed before, and how fahion changes so fast.

which is your favorite look? &
what is your favorite decade of fashion?
